How much does a website cost in Singapore?
Anywhere from “free” to tens of thousands of dollars, which isn’t a helpful answer. Here is what each route really costs a small business once you add hosting, email and your own time.
Prices checked 28 Oct 2026, before GST. Sources at the end.
1. Do it yourself with a website builder
Builders such as Wix, Squarespace and Shopify advertise low monthly prices. The cheapest plan that lets you use your own domain costs about S$22–39 a month, with the lower price only if you pay a year upfront. Business email usually isn’t included on those plans, and the real cost is your evenings and weekends.

2. Hire a freelancer
Published guides put a freelancer in Singapore at about S$1,000–3,000 for a small brochure site. You then arrange hosting (about S$7–20 a month for shared hosting) and email yourself, and small changes later are usually billed separately.

3. Hire an agency
Agencies offer strategy, custom design and more polish, and charge for it: published guides put a small-business site at about S$3,000–8,000, with larger custom builds going well beyond. Maintenance is usually a separate monthly plan; published agency plans start at about S$100–300 a month.

4. A monthly plan like ours
You pay a flat S$39 a month with nothing upfront. The scope is fixed (up to 10 pages, set up around your own information on proven layouts), hosting in Singapore and 5 email accounts are included, and you see a free preview before paying. The trade-off is the fixed scope: later changes are quoted before work starts.

What to ask before you pay anyone
- Who owns the domain, and is it registered in my name?
- Is hosting included? For how long, and where is the server?
- Is business email included, and how many mailboxes?
- Can I see a preview or draft before I commit money?
- What does a small text change cost after launch?
- What happens to my website if I stop paying or want to leave?
- Is it mobile-ready, and does it have SSL (the padlock)?
Our answers: you own it · yes, Singapore · 5 mailboxes · yes, free · quoted first · it switches off, the domain stays yours · yes and yes.
